Launch of jobline netherlands - 11/2000

Further strengthens and extends Jobline's European e-cruitment services

Jobline International has launched the Jobline Netherlands website (http//www.jobline.nl/) and opened an office in Amsterdam, following the earlier appointment of Robert Brouwer as managing director. This further strengthens and extends Jobline's European e-cruitment services. Jobline International's move into the Dutch market completes the primary phase of expansion into the main European markets. Jobline's strategic objective has been to establish a pan-European on-line professional search platform. The addition of the Netherlands enables Jobline to even better facilitate cross border candidate delivery and meet the cross border requirements of our large corporate clients.

Toon Bouten, CEO of Jobline commented, ìwe have completed the first phase of our rollout in the main European markets according to plan. Our focus going forward will be on the second phase of Jobline International's rollout programme, which continues to strengthen our market position across Europe and aid our movement into profitability for the twelve different country operations.î

He added, The Netherlands is an important component of our expansion across Europe. It has a mature competence economy thanks in part to its highly educated workforce. Due to its history and geographical position, Netherlands is a gateway to Europe for many companies. We're delighted that Robert has joined Jobline International, he is already held in high regard for his management prowess gained from his time at Aashima International and is a key addition to our team. Robert is already making an impact to Jobline's Dutch operations, including recently signing contracts with Compaq, Telford Telecommunications and Formus Communications, generating numerous candidate opportunities.
