Kenexa, a recruitment and retention specialist, this week announces the opening of an office in Malaysia to provide further support and development for Kenexaís products and services.
ìOver the last decade, Malaysia has emerged as one of the top outsourcing destinations in the world. By establishing a Multimedia Super Corridor, or MSC, the country has provided global technology companies, such as Kenexa, with the legislative framework and world-class infrastructure needed to expand business into this region,î said David Wei, director of Kenexa Malaysia. ìThe MSC provides cost savings through import tax exemption, and takes swift action to protect intellectual property.î
By opening the new office in Malaysia, Kenexa augments its existing presence in the region, which is experiencing a significant boom in human capital management (HCM) and employment process outsourcing. For example, thanks to increased Internet use, the Chinese online recruiting market is now experiencing a more than 70% year-by-year growth. The current trends in global capital movement, coupled with the promotion of education standards and business opportunities in the region, have created potential for the HCM market.
Rudy Karsan, CEO of Kenexa, said, ìMalaysia is a vibrant, multi-cultural hub with a talented and qualified workforce. We believe it is the ideal location for our newest office and weíre looking forward to the contributions of the Kenexa Malaysia team.î
Kenexa Malaysia is located at A-1-05 SME Technopreneur Centre, 2270 Jalan Usahawan 2, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia; telephone 60-3-8318 2539. Kenexaís other Asia Pacific locations include Taiwan, Hong Kong and Hyderabad, India. The company also maintains offices in the United States and Canada, as well as the U.K., the Netherlands and Germany.
