Kate Donovan has been named U.S. managing director of Manpower Business Solutions (MBS), a global business line of employment services leader Manpower Inc. MBS is focused on providing Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and other outsourcing solutions for large and medium sized business.
Recently named a top RPO provider in North America and the world by HRO Today magazine, Manpower Business Solutions has established itself as a leader in the global RPO market. Donovan takes over the leadership of MBS from Sheldon Schur, who remains at Manpower as vice president/general manager of Manpower Professional in the U.S.

Donovan joined Manpower from Veritude, a Fidelity Investments company, which specializes in recruiting and HR consulting. During her four-year tenure with Veritude, she led the companyís successful entree into RPO. Prior to joining Veritude, Donovan led her own consulting firm, where she advised clients on how to deliver HR services by leveraging outsourcing strategies. Additionally, Donovan spent 18 years as an HR executive with BankBoston Financial Corp. Donovan earned a masters degree from Boston University and bachelorís degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
