The Jurys Inn GROW Graduate Programme, which will be recruiting again from the 1st November for its 2013 intake is a fast track programme allowing graduates to take the transition from education to full time employment within the hospitality industry.

Graduates attend training sessions in areas such as ŒBE Exceptional¹, a unique Guest Care training course in addition to Finance & Budgets, Revenue Management and Effective Communication, and are mentored by senior level employees throughout the two year programme. The aim of the two year course is to have recruits ready to take on Assistant Manager roles by the end of it.

Says, Jennifer Lee, HR Director: ³each year we recruit 20 new graduates to the GROW programme who then work across our 32 hotels located in the UK, Ireland and the Czech Republic.  We expect applicants to have a hospitality-related degree and relevant work experience.  As a company we are committed to creating and supporting exceptional people, and to achieving a culture that values people and their contributions to the business.  The GROW Programme provides these bright talents with a structure and support to help fully develop their potential.²

Jurys Inn boasts an excellent reputation for employing and training people from all backgrounds.  Irrespective of the level that an employee enters there are a variety of career options within the company to encourage the achievement of their personal goals through skill development, building practical and theoretical expertise. Jurys Inn focuses on recruiting people with a great hospitality attitude and train them for the skills required.

Last year Jurys Inn received the only Gold Award from Investors In People for an international hotel group. The gold accreditation is one of only nine awarded to UK companies. The Investors in People report described the Jurys Inn group as a cutting edge organisation operating at the very highest levels of people management practice. Investors In People also commended Jurys Inn for its commitment to employees by championing internal promotion, with 90% of current Jurys Inn General Managers promoted from within.
