Jobsite Launches RecruitRank

Recruiters to get valuable market performance feedback via new agency tool

Jobsite today announces the launch of RecruitRank, a ground-breaking system that tiers recruitment agencies according to jobseeker feedback. Using Jobsiteís proprietary methodology, agencies will receive valuable market research based on the candidate job seeking experience, from finding the right job to how good the agencies are at keeping in touch.

For the first time, recruitment agencies will have unbiased feedback on their candidate relations from the jobseekers themselves and will be able to use this to monitor and improve their performance. Recruiters will receive a report on the feedback from candidates on a monthly basis and Jobsite will work with them to strengthen all aspects of their candidate management and brand perception in the market using a variety of tools, services and systems.

Recent research from Jobsite revealed that jobseekers are dissatisfied with the recruitment process ñ 50% of UK jobseekers found the process of finding a new job frustrating. RecruitRank has evolved to help recruiters improve it. In particular, recruitment agencies were highlighted for not keeping in regular contact with jobseekers (a concern for 58% of those surveyed), whilst a further 21% reported that recruiters did not understand their specific personal employment needs.

RecruitRank works by inviting candidates applying for a vacancy on Jobsite to provide feedback on recruitment agency communication, their understanding of the candidateís needs and the industries they work in. To date Jobsite has already received over 20,000 candidate responses covering over 600 UK recruitment agencies. The top ten agencies providing the highest level of customer service are featured on Jobsiteís website.

Keith Potts, Managing Director of Jobsite comments: ìRecruitRank gives agencies the chance to monitor and improve their candidate relations. Traditionally, the recruitment industry has been very employer-focused; sometimes neglecting the jobseekers. RecruitRank is the first step towards giving the jobseeker a platform to voice the standards they expect from a recruitment agency. Through RecruitRank we can now provide agencies with valuable bespoke information to monitor and improve performance as well as help them generate better candidate responses to advertisements. In summary, RecruitRank is about providing information to agencies and helping them develop the service they offer to candidates.î

Mike Gawthorne, Operations Director, from Jobsite recruitment partner Advanced Resource Managers (ARM) comments: ìAs the recruitment industry evolves, recruitment agencies are set to become more involved in helping companies make strategic decisions and manage more aspects of the recruitment process. RecruitRank will provide the industry with a vital barometer to best meet the needs of candidates and companies alike.î

RecruitRank is part of Jobsiteís ongoing vision and mission to improve the job hunting process and is the first of a series of initiatives which will be announced next year to recognise recruitment agencies who provide the best service to job seekers. This new ranking system follows the recent launch of Jobsiteís personal profiles which helps candidates find a company which culturally fits them and can help UK companies save 2.5 billion per year1.. Both of these services have been created to address the frustrations revealed in a Jobsite survey of 5,000 job seekers from across a variety of sectors.
