We are all familiar with bar codes and scanning when grocery
shopping. And we know how today’s smart phones can do so much more than phone
and text.
So now JobServe
has combined these technologies and introduced bar codes for jobs accessible by
phone.
When looking at job adverts on JobServe candidates will
notice a new ‘dotted’ barcode.
These are QR barcodes, which candidates can scan using most modern
mobile phones with a suitable (and freely available) app installed.
By scanning the Quick
Links with their smart phone a candidate can download a copy of the job
title, along with a URL to take them straight back to the job advert. Most phones will then allow the user to
browse the job, and store the link.
This new Quick Link provides a really easy way for bookmarking jobs “on
the move”.

Links are QR barcodes that may be read with any modern mobile phone with a
