JobServe.com announced today the addition of 22,000
new Oil & Gas Engineers CV’s to its data base.
Acquired
from a retiring Oil & Gas Engineering recruitment specialist, the
additional CV’s represents a huge increase in JobServe’s CV data base for Oil
& Gas Engineers.
This
investment marks our commitment to the Oil & Gas sector where we know there
is a shortage of good candidates, said James Wren, JobServe’s General
Manager Search Products & User Experience.
This
sector has similar features to the IT sector, contractors who work on specific
projects and who are willing to travel or relocate for their work, Wren
added.
The
important issue for Oil & Gas Engineers is where their next project is
coming from. Our Alchemy technology finds jobs that match their recent searches
so we can match 'hot candidates' to current vacancies.
For
our customers, our new CV search service allows them to look for the required
skills and 'buy' only when they find the right candidate. Of course not all candidates allow
their CV to be searched and that’s why it is important recruiters still post
their jobs as Alchemy will send emails to all relevant candidates that match
the job showing them the job advert, Wren added.
This
is just the beginning of our investment in the Oil & Gas sector, said
Wren We have received strong support from our Global customers to
strengthen our presence in this sector.
The CV data
base now includes over 30,000 specialist Oil and Gas Engineers spread around
the globe with 55% in the UK and Europe, 20% in North America and 25% in
Australia and Asia.
