JobServeís overhaul of CV Service products

JobServe today announced the overhaul of its CV search service

JobServe CV Products are now available in a choice of 3 cost effective packages.

ï Instant CVs – unique to market offering; and
ï Ad-Hoc CV Downloads; and
ï Monthly CV License.

Wendy Cowell, Global Online Sales & Business Development Manager announced this move in response to feedback from customers who told her that the CV search feature was an important adjunct to the standard job posting.

ìWe know from talking to our customers that job adverts are important but that in some cases they need to proactively search out the right candidate,î Cowell said.

Instant CVs

Responding to recruiters who find themselves urgently needing to search for a candidate but who havenít got a CV license set up (or who have used up their current license entitlement) JobServe have introduced the instant CV Search.

This instant CV service which can be accessed and used in under 5 minutes involves 4 steps –

1. Register (for new users) or log in;
2. Type in skills and/or quantifications and location;
3. Review CVs displayed and select suitable candidate(s); and lastly
4. Pay by credit card for full access to the CV enabling you to contact the candidate immediately

Priced at 5 per CV this service is not intended for use by professional recruiters but will satisfy the occasional user.

Ad-Hoc CV Downloads

For recruiters who do not have the volume of searches to justify buying a monthly license, the Ad-Hoc service allows them to purchase the number of downloads they need and provides volume discounts for buying in bulk.

Ad-Hoc downloads are valid for one year and allows recruiters to gain access to the full service at a lower cost, starting at 20 for 10 downloads.

Monthly CV License

Aimed at the professional recruiter market, licences provide up to 200 downloads per day with unlimited users and views.

Licenses can be purchased from 1 – 12 months and provides the user with the dual functionality of two search engines –

ï Quick search for recruiters with only limited fields to be searched and who value speed; and
ï CV Pro for recruiters searching to fill complex positions with up to 24 fields being searched.

A single license starts from 200.

Commenting on this announcement Wendy Cowell said, ìOur aim with this product revamp was to make our candidate data base available to each type of recruiter and find flexible price points that suited everyone's needs î.

ìWith millions of candidates registered on our database it was essential for us to provide two distinct ways of searching - one for the quick search where the speed of the search was important and another for the really difficult to find candidates. Thatís where our Pro Search comes into its own as it searches millions of candidate records with multiple search fields,î Cowell added.

This move follows a midyear review of all JobServe products.
