Enjoyable and satisfying jobs that could be described as íperfectí is pretty difficult to come about. As a result, the majority of those searching for a new job, would therefore choose to move away from their home town to ensure they are pursuing their dreams! Is this the result of more and more career-driven individuals?
The rest of the respondants, that is only 28% of jobseekers said they would not however consider re-locating. Commitments, responsibilities and ties to families and friends could be the reason for this lack of interest in relocation. What would you do if your dream job came along 50 miles away?
As a result of this recent survey by TipTopJob, recruiters using local methods to advertise their vacancies may therefore be restricting their options of quality potential employees. If people are willing to move to find their perfect job, recruiters may be missing out!
