Jobs4Medical launched 6 months ago, in October 2005. Having identified a need for a niche market medical / dental / social work / allied health and scientific job board, the site offers health and social care recruiters and employers an opportunity to reach a broad range of professionals within a specialised area.
Various competitions have been held over the last 6 months time, with a candidate having won a Smart Car for a year, a number of iPod Nanos were on offer for suggestions and feedback received on the site. All feedback from our site traffic is carefully considered, and as a result, various improvements have been initiated, and will be going live by the end of May 2006.
Jobs4Medicalís first month saw just over 26 000 visitors to the site. Five months later, that traffic has increased to over 120 000 unique visitors during March 2006 ñ an increase of almost 500%. It is anticipated that with the momentum that has been created at the launch, together with a varied marketing strategy, this trend should continue with Jobs4Medical striving towards being the largest medical and healthcare jobs board and database outside of the NHS site.
Jobs4Medical have recently been approached by TwentyTwenty TV, who are recruiting for a ìcharismatic and tough matronî to be put to the test against the Bad Lads recruited for the popular television show. It is hoped that one of our candidates will be the lucky star of the show!
