Speaker Bio:
Jason
has nearly 15 years of talent management experience and has held senior
leadership roles in talent acquisition and talent management at some of
the world’s leading companies, including Starbucks and Google. At
Starbucks, he was responsible for recruiting for all of North America
during the highest growth years at the company. Later in his career, at
Google, he led Recruiting and Learning and Development in North America,
Latin America and Asia for the Online Sales and Operations group, the
primary revenue organization at the company. He currently leads talent
acquisition at Intellectual Ventures. IV’s mission is to streamline an
invention economy that will drive innovation around the world. Featured
in the book SuperFreakonomics, chronicled on 20/20, and recently
featured on Charlie Rose, Intellectual Ventures is led by renowned
scientist and businessman Nathan Myhrvold.
