ISYS Search Software, a global supplier of enterprise search solutions for business and government, today announced that Information Technology Recruitment and Contracting (iTRAC) Resources has selected ISYS:desktop for search within its large repository of information on personnel candidates.

iTRAC Resources is an IT recruitment agency, providing IT personnel to a variety of Australian companies. To locate the right personnel, the company must be able to search stored information regarding candidates currently on file. iTRAC utilizes ISYSí ability to sort results into relevant categories such as ënumber of hitsí or ëdate received.í

To organize job candidates, iTRAC previously coded individual skills and spent hours entering those codes into a database. Due to the ever changing and growing skills base of IT workers, it became necessary to search for candidates on specific skills located in resumes, rather than a database column. The company now uses ISYS to search through resumes supplemented by an in-house SQL server database.
