Investment in online video interviewing software

Accelero Digital Solutions, the fast growing software engineering company, based in Bridgend, South Wales, has announced an investment in the digital interviewing platform Tazio. This investment will sit alongside three existing joint ventures, as Accelero embarks on doubling its turnover over the next eighteen months.

Tazio is an innovative product, enabling employers to conduct first round interviews with candidates using automated video interviews. For employers the key benefits are significant savings in both time and money, an improved candidate experience and a recruitment process which ensures consistency and fairness. The interview process allows employers to ask unlimited audio, text and video questions with candidates able to easily apply for positions from careers websites, job boards, social media and via email invites. Employers enjoy online security, the ability to share candidate interviews with colleagues and clients and most importantly of all, the benefit of replaying and reviewing the responses.

Tazio is the brainchild of Tom Stroud, who has been launching and developing technology companies over the last ten years, initially with Miura Conference then Webcast Global and most recently Tazio.

“Response to Tazio has been consistently positive with most recruiters believing it is a great idea and a significant benefit to them. However finding appropriate funding to take the business forward has been extremely difficult in the current business climate. This deal with Accelero enables us to further develop Tazio and accelerate our marketing plans. We already have interest from blue chip companies such as L’Oreal, RBS and Vodafone and have a pilot trial underway with a global hotel group. Working with Kelvin and his team is very exciting and reinforces the wisdom of working in partnership with like minded companies in the same sector, as opposed to seeking traditional funding” explains Tom Stroud.

Accelero managing director Kelvin Jones, added “Tazio is a superb product with enormous worldwide potential. With this investment, not only have we expanded our product base, but in Tom we have access to an accomplished technology sales director, who will be helping us to develop a cohesive sales and marketing strategy for our whole portfolio of products. Tom brings with him a vast amount of experience developing long term client relationships and providing B2B technology solutions. Alongside Tazio he will initially be looking to promote Accelero’s bespoke software development capabilities, particularly Accelero’s expertise in developing mobile applications and cloud based business solutions using our unique code generation and technology framework.

Tom will also be spearheading the marketing of the forthcoming range of EnGenero automated code generation tools which enable businesses and developers to significantly reduce the time taken to develop their own bespoke business applications, saving them a huge amount of money. EnGenero can simultaneously develop applications in multiple programming languages, for rapid deployment across different environments including mobile, desktop, online and cloud, using one common user interface, framework and data structure”
