The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a professional association and educator in talent management strategies, announced today that renowned thought leader on innovation management and design strategy Jeneanne Rae, President and Co-Founder of Peer Insight LLC, will be a keynote speaker at HCI’s second annual National Human Capital Summit, to be held in Phoenix March 19-21.
Day one of the Summit, Rae will deliver the Innovation Keynote: Customer Experience Design - Lessons from the Global Service Innovation Consortium.
The presentation will explore the meaning behind the catchphrase the customer experience, and provide examples of how best practice companies organize themselves to deliver great customer experiences.
Research conducted by Peer Insight through its Global Service Innovation Consortium has identified Customer Experience Design as one of the most important disciplines companies should master if they want to be industry leaders, no matter what their offering. As part of her presentation, Jeneanne Rae will share specific lessons learned from the research, which includes input from 35 Fortune 500 service companies, interviews with 250 senior executives, and data on 65 service innovation projects.
Jeneanne Rae has worked with dozens of leading companies to establish innovation programs and organization strategies that resulted in millions of dollars of new revenue streams and profitable growth. In acknowledgement of her talent and knowledge, Rae was formally recognized as one of the Magnificent Seven gurus of innovation by BusinessWeek.
Known for her ability to help senior business leaders grasp a philosophical understanding of how to drive innovation and foster design-based thinking, Rae has been described as the Doyenne of Service Innovation. She is a highly sought-after speaker and executive educator, often serving as a mentor to Fortune 500 senior executives learning the transformative disciplines that are driving innovation in the post-Six Sigma era.
Rae also shares her knowledge with business students at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where she is Adjunct Professor of Marketing in the MBA Program. Her course, Developing New Products and Services is one of the few MBA classes in the country that teaches design methods and thinking to business students.
Jeneanne Rae’s career in design and innovation has spanned over 15 years. Prior to 2001, Rae was a member of the senior management team of IDEO, the world’s leading design and development firm. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. with dual degrees in Marketing and Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
