ICAEW jobs.com tops the boards for senior level accountancy and finance professionals

ICAEWjobs.com has a higher percentage of senior level, professionally qualified users than any other accountancy and finance job board according to the 2010 National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS)

ICAEWjobs.com has a higher percentage of senior level, professionally qualified users than any other accountancy and finance job board according to the 2010 National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS).

83% of ICAEWjobs users describe themselves as professionally qualified, ranking 1st amongst all the recruitment websites who participated in the survey. In the accountancy and finance sector, ICAEWjobs has the highest percentage of people at director level and above, with executive board members alone making up more than 5%.

ICAEWjobs is the job board from the ICAEW, home of the ACA qualification and 134,000 members in more than 160 countries. “We’re delighted that the survey results confirm what our clients are telling us” said Luke Collier, Head of Online Recruitment at the ICAEW. “Our user profile of high-achieving, experienced candidates reflects the calibre of the ICAEW membership as a whole. It’s great to see that the work we put in to targeting members is reflected in the breath of visitors to the site.”

The survey also revealed that just over a third of ICAEWjobs users have never applied for a job online before, the highest percentage of all the accountancy and finance job boards surveyed. “Much of our advertising is done through non-recruitment centred channels, reaching large numbers of passive candidates as well as those actively looking to move” commented Luke Collier. “Many of these speculative visitors go on to upload their CV to our database. If they’re not in the habit of applying for jobs online, it’s unlikely they’ve posted their CV elsewhere.”
