Ross Hibberd, 24, from DP Connect, was the lucky winner of Broadbeans World Cup competition sponsored by London Careers.net. Surprised winner, Ross, who works as a resourcer in IT recruitment said: ìWhen I first found out, I thought someone in the office was hoaxing me. When Ricky from Broadbean rang me to confirm I was running around the office cheering! Ross won a monster 40-inch JVC DynaPix LCD TV with a DVD recorder, worth over 2,500.

ìMy telly broke down recently, so itís come at the right time.î

At the start of the World Cup, London Careers readers and Broadbean clients were asked to predict the eight group winners. Out of 845 people that entered, Ross was the only one to choose all eight teams. He was also the only one to choose Switzerland to win their group, which won him the competition: ìI donít know why I chose them. I donít even remember choosing Switzerland. I think it was a mistake.î

Only 4% of players predicted Italy to win the World Cup with 53% opting for Brazil and 20% predicting England.

Ricky Wheeler commented: We are extremely pleased the competition was won by a client with a genuine need for a 40-inch high definition LCD TV. Special thanks go to everyone at LondonCareers.net for providing such a tremendous prize for our winner.
