hy-phen to provide a five year eRecruitment programme for the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham

hy-phen Workforce Management Solutions, the UKís recruitment solutions and technology company, has been selected by Civica plc to provide eRecruitment technology to the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. As part of its five year strategic e-procurement service for the Borough, public sector software and services specialist Civica chose hy-phen for its innovative and unique range of eRecruitment products and services, which optimise the engagement and management of both contingent and permanent employees.

The integration of the specialist hy-phen application will offer a complete ëpurchase to payí procurement process for contingent labour. This will allow Council users to post approved job requisitions, manage all recruitment activities, authorise electronic timesheets and facilitate ëself-billingí. By fully integrating with the Civica e-procurement platform, hy-phen will manage the engagement of contingent labour for all departments within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Civica, one of the UKís most experienced providers of consulting, software and services for the public sector, already provides e-procurement solutions to over 20 local authority customers.

Manoj Patel, Hammersmith & Fulhamís head of finance IT, said: ìThe Council currently spends well over 100m on goods and services, of which 20m goes on temporary labour. In addition to the provision of eRecruitment expertise, hy-phen carried out consulting work to establish potential cost saving opportunities relating to recruitment and resourcing to help create the business case for the Councilís e-procurement programme.
