Huntress is delighted to announce that the London Commercial team successfully raised over 200 by taking part in Macmillan Cancer Reliefís Worldís Biggest Coffee Morning. Every cup of coffee drunk on Friday 30th September in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief will help fund vital information and counselling centres, specialist Macmillan medical staff, buildings for cancer treatment and care, as well as grants for people with cancer who are in financial difficulty.

Huntress held their Worldís Biggest Coffee Morning at the Kingsway Branch in Holborn, in their exclusive Huntress Web Caf, which is usually used for candidate screening and registration. However, on the busy Friday morning the atmosphere was positively buzzing, and the Web Caf was overflowing - not just with the presence of Huntress candidates, but with Huntress employees from all divisions, clients and employees from neighbouring businesses, who were all drawn in by the aroma of home-made cakes, biscuits, and fresh coffee, showing their support by joining in and rallying together for a worthy cause. To add to the fun, there were competitions to be entered and prizes to be won, including Champagne courtesy of Huntress, in addition to Macmillanís national competition to win a Silver Audi A2 (winner yet to be announced).

A preferential partner of Macmillan Cancer Relief, Huntress has supplied them with temporary and permanent personnel for 3 years.

Macmillan HR Coordinator Stuart Mather spoke about the partnership:

ìThe Huntress Team have been efficient and responsive when providing us with Temporary and Permanent staff. They provide a professional service, understand our needs, and act swiftly where offering recruitment solutions. We are pleased and grateful that Huntress has taken part in our Worldís Biggest Coffee Morning event this year which has proven to be a huge success, and we look forward to working in partnership in the future.î

Jane Atherton, Director, remarked:
ìMacmillan are a valued Client of ours, and offering our support to the charity as a company means we are directly aiding their cause and raising awareness through other local companies. We were particularly pleased with the involvement and support from our candidates and neighbouring companies on this occasion, and we are looking forward to taking part in Macmillanís Worldís Biggest Coffee Morning again next yearî
