HRSEO President Joins .jobs

Joel Cheesman has been retained as special consultant to .jobs.

Cleveland - The organization in charge of overseeing the distribution of the new .jobs domain has made a key addition to its team. Joel Cheesman, president of HRSEO, has joined .jobs as special consultant and will help guide the organizationís search engine optimization and marketing strategies. HRSEO helps employers leverage search engines to recruit talent.



.Jobs is pleased that Joel has joined our team, said Ray Fassett, executive vice president. His knowledge and experience in search engine optimization strategies and how it pertains to the HR community is an area we feel very relevant to the evolution of .jobs.

In addition, to aiding the organizationís search engine strategies, Cheesman will serve in an advisory role for .jobsí marketing and technology goals and objectives. Cheesman worked for E.span, a pioneer in the online employment industry, in the í90s, and has most recently worked for CareerBoard, a niche board targeting local employers in the midwest, as its director of e-marketing. Cheesman founded HRSEO in January of this year.

My experience in the online recruitment and search engine optimization space will help .jobs to hit the ground running and achieve long-term success, Cheesman said. I strongly believe the .jobs domain will make a huge impact on Internet recruiting as we know it today, and Iím happy to be along for the ride.
