5th annual event expected to attract 300 to 400 HR Executives
HR.com, the research and Web destination for HR Executives, today announced that it will be hosting its 5th annual event ñ HR.com’s Employers of Excellence Conference 2006 ñ October 25 to 27 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference will be held at the Red Rock Resort, a five-star resort overlooking the Red Rock Canyon and minutes away from the excitement of downtown Las Vegas.
Once again, the conference will feature presentations from six high profile keynote speakers, over 100 educational workshops, luncheon roundtable discussions and one-on-one vendor meetings.
Our latest event, which recently ran in September in Phoenix, was our highest attended and rated event to date. Attendees had the following to say:
I was facing a number of challenges in my job before the conference; however, through the valuable networking, vendor contacts and being inspired by the speakers, I was able to start drafting a plan to help take my department and organization to a new level of service. For me, it was a life-changing event.
Jane Emberty, HR Director, Coconino County
Topping that conference will be a challenge. Your selection of keynote speakers had it all and such a nice variety of personality, expertise and message content. Yet the one thing we noted was how they all respected and connected to the messages of the other speakers. We thought for sure that after listening to Jim Collins and David Whyte that the remainder of the speakers couldn’t possibly be as good - we were pleasantly surprised to find how wrong we were. Kat Bissing, HR Training/Development and HR Technology, Perfetti Van Melle USA, Inc.
I thought the conference was excellent in comparison to other conferences I have attended. The content presented at the conference will enable HR Leaders to become Strategic Business Leaders. Augie Schulke, Vice President HR, DSM Desotech
As part of HR.comís mandate to provide industry collaboration, sharing and networking, we are also looking for industry Thought Leaders who are willing to advance their profession by sharing. We invite you to submit proposals for consideration on any subject that will enable todayís HR Executives to execute on their business strategies or to prepare for the future. These presentations should include handouts, case studies, and interactive discussions on industry best practices.
