National recruiter HR GO plc was delighted to have been part of the most beautiful spectacle which adorned the skies of France with an array of colour whilst breaking two new World Records.
The Lorraine Mondial international hot air balloon festival was home to the two world records; the first saw the World record of the greatest mass of hot air balloons to launch in one hour, a total of 408 of which, one was the HR GO balloon. The second was for the greatest line of hot air balloons, 391 in total.
HR GO plc entered into the promotional deal with Merlin Balloons four years ago. Jack Parkinson, Non Executive Chairman, HR GO plc, comments; “The HR GO branded hot air balloon is such a creative and unique way to promote our company”.
He continues; “When the balloon is inflated and flying through the skies of Kent where our roots are firmly grounded, there is no better sight on a beautiful morning or afternoon sunset. And for our balloon to be represented at such a huge event and, more importantly, to be part of two world records, it’s just inspiring.”
Balloonists come from around the world to take part in the annual balloon festival which started in 1989. The 408 balloons took off from a former Nato base in Chambley, France.
