Hitwise Top 10 Award for Eteach.com

Eteach.com, the specialist teacher job site, received last month the Hitwise Top 10 by visits Award for the quarter ending June 2005, in the category of Recruitment Websites.



It is the first time that the niche job board has scooped this award and CEO, Paul Howells, is delighted, commenting, ëThe Award recognises Eteachís growth in popularity among teacher and education jobseekers. We attribute this to a larger job listing than all of our on and offline competitors but also we give the applicant control of the application process and the ability to communicate directly with their potential employer.

ëIn June 2005 we averaged 4,800 vacancies, with 360,000 job searches and 30,000 job-application downloads, up 75% on June 2004. We are proud too that our site is the only independent vertical board ranked in the Hitwise top 10 during this period.í

In June 2005 Eteach.com also recorded another milestone by registering its 240,000th member, thatís more than 55% of the entire teacher workforce in England and Wales.
