Harvey Nash Group builds public sector practice

Harvey Nash, a global professional recruitment consultancy and IT outsourcing service provider, today announced that Frank McKenna will join its Executive Search division this month as the Head of NHS and Health Services Practice.

As the biggest employer in Europe and one undergoing significant change, the NHS is a key growth area for Harvey Nashís Executive Search team. Frank brings over 13 years of experience in the NHS and health services, most recently working at Board-level within NHS hospital trusts in London.

Frank joins Harvey Nash from Whipps Cross University Hospital NHS Trust where he was Executive Director of Human Resources & Organisational Development. Prior to that role, he held the position of Director of Human Resources & Communications at Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He spent eight years with the British Medical Association where he held a number of senior positions, lastly Industrial Relations Specialist and then Head of Change Management.

Frankís extensive experience in NHS and health services management includes leading modernisation and change programmes and the successful implementation of workforce reforms to drive efficiency. In addition to having first-hand knowledge of the opportunities and challenges facing Executives in the NHS and health services, Frank has a strong network of contacts built throughout his career as well as through seats on a number of high level working groups.
