Greatsocialcare.co.uk launches ñ the specialist social work and care job board

Greatsocialcare.co.uk launched following the success of greatcare.co.uk

Following the success of greatcare.co.uk, the childcare and nursery job board, over the last three years, the team have launched a new specialist site: greatsocialcare.co.uk helping agencies and employers find social work and care staff.

A significant part of the development of the new site has been spent in designing the job categories, which are firstly broken down into six main sections: Management, Residential Childcare, Residential Adultcare, Social Work Childcare, Social Work Childcare, Domiciliary Care and Housing. These six main categories are then further broken down so that recruiters and candidates can be extremely specific in their job posting and searching respectively.

The site has been built with similar functionality to the greatcare.co.uk website including filter questions, candidate registrations and jobs by email but also include some new features including:

Speed register ñ a matching system allowing recruiters to specify the type of candidates they are interested in and candidates to specify their skill set, the two are then matched and the candidates details are sent directly to each recruiter including their CV and relevant details.

Branding jobs ñ when a job is posted in can be complemented with an image, e.g. a client logo or an advert that may have been placed in a newspaper, therefore enhancing that particular job.

For the launch period running well into 2006, greatsocialcare.co.uk will be completely free for agencies to use and we have initiated a number of traffic driving initiatives including optimisation, inbound banner links, affiliate links and a number of other methods.

Greatcare.co.uk has grown since its launch in May 2003, it is currently used by some of the countries leading nursery and childcare recruiters and receives over 40,000 unique visitors, over 300,000 page views a month as has over 14,000 registered users.
