Executive recruiter, GatenbySanderson has announced changes to its board of directors with the promotion of Martin Tucker and Mark Turner to the Board.

Martin Tucker who joined GatenbySanderson in 2006 becomes Managing Partner of the Executive Search and Assessment business, taking operational responsibility across the UK. Mark Turner, who joined in 2007, is promoted to the Board as Senior Partner and will be responsible for the continued successful business growth of key markets with a particular emphasis upon Central Government and Health.

Graham Goodwin, Chairman, will now focus his attention on the future strategic growth of GatenbySanderson with Interim provision and digital innovation being high priorities. Commenting on the changes, Graham Goodwin commented ëI am delighted to welcome Martin and Mark to the board in recognition of the contributions they have made to GatenbySanderson. We are a very ambitious organisation with a clear intention to be the number one recruiter in the UK in terms of quality, market share and reputation. Like the organisations we work for, we look to appoint and reward the best people who can make a difference and these promotions reflect the impact Martin and Mark have made and will continue to bring.

When questioned on his own role, Graham continued, ìHanding over the operational responsibility for the Executive Search business will allow me to focus more time on identifying and developing opportunities for innovation, growth and capturing the opportunities that are arising as a result of the recession. Our Interim business is thriving and I will be working closely with Danny Hodgson, our Lead Partner to support further growth. We are also operating in a public sector that will be feeling the bite of further efficiencies for some time to come. We intend to continue to innovate so that we can increase efficiencies while improving process. These are exciting times and I am relishing the challenge to provide a better, more flexible service to our clients by developing and adopting technology that will make ourselves and our clients more efficient and greener.î
