Rail Career Site www.justrail.net have announced a free jobs by SMS service to members.

Justrail.net are pioneering a new and exciting method of alerting members to the latest vacancies on offer - SMS Text Alerts - direct to your mobile phone or device.

This completely free & easy to use service (3 free credits-normally 1 weeks worth of SMS) is designed to let members know when we have a suitable job within minutes of receiving it, giving our members a head start in the race for that ideal position. Additionally as a simple text message it avoids the awkward call at work or whilst driving, allowing you manage your job-hunt on your terms.

How it Works:

Subscribe to SMS service. Log on to the member home page. In the SMS Alerts section members will find the unique needed to text to 82280, from the mobile phone. Identify which Jobs By Email required to receive SMS alerts for. Set up a new Jobs By Email string or edit an existing one and tick the SMS Alert box. Once set up your SMS Alerts are clearly identified on your member home page in the Jobs By Email section.

After filling in a simple online form, we register preferences onto the system and whenever the system receive a job that matches these preferences we will send a short message with the essential information about the position as in the examples below_

'Proposal Manager' - ID=1137

'Asset Planning Manager' - ID=1136

We send the job title that matches the SMS Alert and its ID value, as above. When the member next accesses the Internet, use the Job Search section of the member home page to enter the SMS Alert ID that will give full details of the vacancy including how to apply.
