Aberdeen based Empire HR is continuing to grow from strength to strength, adding four key appointments to its expanding team

Aberdeen based Empire HR is continuing to grow from strength to strength, adding four key appointments to its expanding team.

With impressive sales figures and a strong client base spanning the UK, the employment law, HR and health and safety firm has been further developing its strong Scottish presence, by recruiting more staff in the north and across the central belt of Scotland.

In response to client demand Empire HR has launched an employment tribunal advocacy unit. The department will be managed by qualified solicitor Richard Prentis, who has extensive experience in representing businesses before the Employment Tribunals. Mr Prentis has acted for a number of businesses ranging from sole practitioners through to Blue Chip companies. He will also assist in advising clients as part of Empireís dedicated advisory team.

The company has also appointed two business development executives to assist in the growth of their current diverse client base.

Stephen Brown, who held a management role with the Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh for the past eight years and has 30 years experience in the insurance market, is focussing on growing business in the Central Belt area.

Whilst John Maillie, who previously worked for two national employment law firms following a career in banking, will be concentrating on developing business relationships in Tayside and Perthshire.

The final major appointment for Empire HR is Alison Miller who has taken on the role of the firmís Financial Controller. Mrs Miller has more than 20 years cross sector experience in the finance sector and takes on the new position after moving recently from a major oil-related engineering and construction firm.

Empire HR places a firm focus on recruitment to create a well-rounded workforce.

Of the recent appointments, CEO Steve Cook said: ëWe pride ourselves in providing our clients with the best service possible, and to do that we need a strong and focussed team. These four key appointments are critical to Empireís growth in the coming months and years and we are delighted to welcome them all to our team. I have no doubt they will each add a great deal of value to their individual areas.î
