Forum for online recruiters reaches 1000 members

Onrec.com free forum reaches milestone membership.

Onrec.com launched a free forum for the online recruitment industry, in order to communicate with each other, in November 2004.

ìThe idea was to give the industry suppliers, HR and recruiters an opportunity to share informationî, said David Hurst, Publisher of Onrec.com.

ìThe forum has gathered momentum and continues to grow and improve. The topics within the forum are moderated, and from time to time we intervene, usually just to remove the odd inapplicable posting. Other than that, we have a very relaxed freedom of speech attitudeî.

ìOn rare occasions we receive criticism within the forum. Itís tempting to remove this criticism, but we roll with it, in the spirit of the Internet, and respond with a stout defence.î

Areas for discussion include: comment on daily news, US and Australian discussion streams along with Technology and public sector e-recruitment discussions.
