One of the UKís leading learning difficulties organisations, the Dore Programme, has appointed a new CEO following the successful re-launch of the Programme in April.
Having spent over 20 years managing several of the leading players in the human resources industry - including Barkers, Park and Bernard Hodes - Guy Hornsby has an impressive track record when it comes to taking service-driven organisations to the next performance level.
Sky sports commentator and former welsh Rugby captain, Scott Quinnell, who is a spokesperson for the Programme says, ìThis is fantastic news for the Dore Programme. There are so many thousands of people suffering with learning difficulties who simply donít know where to turn. With Guyís direction we will soon be able to reach these people who need our help the mostî.
The Dore Programme itself is a completely unique approach to tackling learning difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, Aspergerís syndrome and dyspraxia. The Programme uses simple exercises such as balancing on wobble boards and juggling bean bags to stimulate an area of the brain called the cerebellum, which Dore believes to be the root cause of such learning difficulties.
Hornsby said, ìIím thrilled to be working with the Dore Programme. This is a new, but extremely exciting environment for me and Iíve already met many people whose lives have been turned around thanks to the Programme. Itís great to be involved with something that people are so genuinely passionate aboutî.
