Fluxus Consulting has entered the UK market with some very specific goals

Launched by Matt Burney, former UK Territory Manager of Onrec UK, Fluxus Consulting (www.fluxusconsulting.com) has entered the UK market with some very specific goals.

Fluxus was launched in response to the needs of clients Matt was dealing with through his direct consulting work taken on since leaving Onrec. I was continually encountering companies who still had no clear recruitment process that encompassed effective use of online recruitment media, social media and a clear idea of who their ideal candidates were and why they were successful. It was very clear that offering a holistic approach to helping these companies through a combination of direct consulting work and partnership with leading recruitment and social media companies was really going to be a benefit.

Since launch Fluxus have had the opportunity to work with some leading employers in both the public and private sector to really help them understand what is really going on in their recruitment processes, gauge exactly what presence their employer brand really has and the reaction to that brand by candidates and suppliers. Fluxus have also worked with a number of niche job boards on refining their pitch, building their social strategy and helping them understand how to come to market in a cost effective and targeted way.

We have been extemely lucky to work with the companies we have to date and we plan to grow quite organically over the next few months. Fluxus works on very much a non tradtional structure and we deliver solutions based on thoroughly understanding a client's needs. We don't need to dictate how a solution is put together we find it is much better to evaluate the needs of our clients and build a suite of services and options they can choose from to build a cost effective and truly client driven service. It may be the case that we only need one consultant dedicated to a particular project, if needed though we can happily provide technical, design or process heads to any situation. The business is truly dictated by the client. This offers a quite fresh approach and allows us to work with partners who we deem appropriate for particular areas. We will be announcing 2 key technology partnerships in the next week that will really open up the offering and allow our clients access to some outstanding, market leading tech in search, social, video and other areas.
