The improvements made by financial controller, Pramod Dhalwani, in just ten months to Veritas ITís internal processes and systems, have earned him a place on the company Board. He was made finance director last month.
Pramod joined the UKís fastest growing, privately owned IT recruitment businesses in October 2005 and within three months was heading the finance team. In less than a year he has implemented a new management information system (MIS) and other internal controls that are helping to deliver a better service to both clients and contractors.
One of the founding directors, Jason Giller said: ìPramod pretty much hit the ground running when he joined, using his experience and knowledge to improve our existing systems to allow for our planned expansion. Weíve all been so impressed by the results that we offered him a position on the Board, which weíre delighted that he accepted.î
Pramod plays a key role evaluating the recruitment consultancyís acquisition plans and other strategic growth opportunities. Prior to joining Veritas IT, Pramod spent three years streamlining processes and integrating complex IT systems with Cereform Ltd. Before that he worked at both Grant Thornton and Andersens, specialising in auditing and advising entrepreneurial businesses. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998.
