Fieldglass to Sponsor Human Capital Institute's 'Contract Talent' Research Practice Area

Contract Talent Management Webinar, on January 21, Will Highlight First Major Research Initiative

The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a professional association and think tank advancing the science of strategic talent management, has announced that Fieldglass Inc., provider of the InSiteY(R) unified technology platform for the acquisition of all human capital, is sponsoring a new HCI online research practice area (RPA) and major survey research focused on Contract Talent.

As a sponsor of the RPA, Fieldglass collaborated with HCI on a Contract Talent survey and research project, with results that will be reported in a webcast broadcast worldwide. The group will also host a web portal containing highly targeted information, research, education, discussion, and networking tools on the topic.

The research webcast, featuring HCI's Executive Director and SVP-Research, Allan Schweyer, and a panel of experts discussing study results and implications, will take place on Wednesday, January 21 from noon to 1 p.m. ET within HCI's comprehensive strategic talent management education, collaboration and resource website, www.hci.org. To register for the webcast, The Role of HR in Contract Talent Management, please visit http://www.hci.org/hci/rpa_tracks_contract_talent.guid.

The Contract Talent RPA portal, located within the Practices Areas portion of www.hci.org, examines the growth and increased importance of contract talent, and provides sound and strategic thought leadership to help increase the competitiveness and overall strength of an organization's workforce.

As the workforce landscape continues to reflect the powerful influence of a knowledge-driven economy, organizations are relying increasingly on contract talent to augment or even replace their full-time salaried workforce, said HCI's Allan Schweyer. HCI is glad to have Fieldglass join the Contract Talent conversation, and to promote continued discussion and exploration of these critical topics.

Information in the Contract Talent RPA is organized into five distinct areas that can be accessed by HCI members and includes highly targeted research, information, education, discussion and networking tools. Content is recommended and developed by HCI, Fieldglass and other sponsors, and an eight-member RPA Advisory Board.

HCI offers the perfect platform for us to both share our own experiences and collaborate on joint research projects with other industry professionals, said Jai Shekhawat, CEO, Fieldglass. We are pleased to partner with such a respected organization to help educate the business community on the increasingly important role of contract talent.

HCI's online RPAs contain a wealth of highly targeted research, learning and collaboration tools for specific industries, disciplines, sectors and markets. Each online RPA is organized into easy-access, searchable sub-topics. Talent leaders may access the Contract Talent RPA at http://www.hci.org/hci/rpa_tracks_contract_talent.guid, or by navigating through the Practice Areas menu within www.hci.org.
