Execuserve Corp Unveils Job Candidate Literacy Testing

Execuserve Corp today launched new literacy tests that measure job candidatesí and employeesí reading and writing skills

Execuserve Corp today launched new literacy tests that measure job candidatesí and employeesí reading and writing skills. The tests are part of the Hire-Intelligenceô assessment offerings from Execuserve Corp. Hire-Intelligence also includes hard skills testing and behavioral assessments.

The new reading test reports the subjectís results as their approximate grade level skill attainment. The writing test evaluates a short essay composed by the job candidate or employee for a number of structural and logical skills. The topic of the test essay can be specified by the hiring organization. In this way the topic can relate to the job being filled and give the employer further insight into how the test taker thinks about a topic relevant to the job. Both tests are taken online.

ìExecuserve Corpís corporate mission is to get the right people into the right jobs,î says Tom Eley, Execuserveís founder and Chairman. ìWeíve always worked hard to innovate new ways to achieve our mission, and bring real value to our clients. Literacy testing is a better way to gauge a potential employeeís intelligence and education than an IQ test.î
