ExecuNet Expands Depth of RecruitSmart Team

Joseph McCool and Jerry Padilla Join Leading Executive Recruiting Network

ExecuNet, the executive job search and recruiting network, announced today that Joseph Daniel McCool, former editor of Executive Recruiter News has been named Senior Contributing Editor and Jerry Padilla has been appointed Managing Director of Recruiting Services. McCool will have oversight responsibility for ExecuNetís RecruitSmart Insider, a new biweekly market intelligence report on the issues shaping executive recruiting and retention, and Padilla will be responsible for the new business development of the companyís RecruitSmart offerings.

Mr. McCool joins ExecuNet after spending eight years as editor of Executive Recruiter News, which has provided insight, analysis, data, and opinion on the global executive search consulting business since 1980. He created and produced the Executive Search Summit held annually in New York City from 2001 through 2005 and also edited the Corporate and International editions of The Directory of Executive Recruiters. He held the titles of Editor in Chief and Vice President with ERN’s publisher, Kennedy Information Inc., a subsidiary of the Bureau of National Affairs Inc., at the time of his resignation in November 2005.

Mr. Padilla joins ExecuNet from the Robert Frances Group (RFG), where he was a Regional Sales Director overseeing the firmís existing accounts and new business initiatives in the Northeast. Prior to joining RFG he held various positions in the sales and management teams of Sungard Availability Services and the Meta Group, where he managed a team of 20 sales representatives that helped increase revenues from $8 million to over $15 million in just two years.
