Eteach forecasts positive growth

Eteach UK Ltd has reported a massive increase in profits of more than 200% for the year ended 31 July 2008

Eteach UK Ltd, the operator of the UKís leading education recruitment websites www.eteach.com and www.fejobs.com, has reported a massive increase in profits of more than 200% for the year ended 31 July 2008.

Eteach CEO Paul Howells said the increase in margin and accompanying positive growth forecast showed that the market for education recruitment was well placed to ride out the bumpy economic conditions. Growth prospects for the next 12 months are forecast to remain strong as a result of the introduction of a number of new products and services, together with the appointment of a new Commercial Director, Peter Hawtin, who has already made a significant impact.

ìIn the current economic climate, where many businesses are operating in difficult trading conditions, it is extremely pleasing that Eteach has not only increased its results but is planning for accelerated growth in the near future. While I would not go so far as to say that education recruitment is immune from the current economic downturn, it does appear that we are more resilient and better placed than some other sectors, and this shows in our continued financial performance,î said Mr Howells.

In addition, advertising revenues and website traffic also increased over the same period on many key measures:

ï Total visits up by 11 percent
ï Unique users up by 14 percent
ï Job searches up by 39 percent
ï New vacancies up by 13 percent
