Environmental consultancy introduce innovative online induction system

.

Leading environmental consultancy RSK Group has launched a hi-tech interactive online induction system, providing new recruits with a comprehensive company overview before they set foot in the door and significantly reducing the administrative burden on team leaders.

Designed by RSK Group-owned communications consultancy tes, the induction uses audio, video and a host of novel features to present all facets of the company in a dynamic and consistent manner – an increasingly unforgiving task given that the RSK Group currently offers over 200 individual services across 17 broad disciplines.

New employees will be sent a link to the user-friendly system before commencing their first day of work, and subsequently taking part in a job-specific induction delivered by their line-manager.

With forensic detail on everything from key clients to RSK Group support services, it will also serve as a valuable source of information for existing staff.

RSK Group Human Resources Manager Zoe Lloyd said:

ìThe new online induction is an exciting initiative aimed at helping new starters learn about RSK Groupís structure, ethos and ambition before they arrive for work. It will ensure staff are better informed about what weíre all about, which will free up considerable time for our line-managers to deliver more memorable job-specific inductions.

ìFirst impressions are critical in the highly competitive environmental consultancy job market, so impressing our new employees before their first day even begins by demonstrating the scope of our company and the potential career development paths on offer, can only be to our advantage.î
