Employment4students, the UK’s most visited jobsite for undergraduate work, celebrated a record breaking 563,573 unique visitors in its June 2013 ABC audit, a 51 percent increase from its previous audit.
With more visitors than any other audited job board targeting student term-time and holiday jobs, http://www.e4s.co.uk/ has helped more than 18 million school, college and university students search for part time and temporary jobs, internships, gap year work and graduate jobs since its launch in 2000.
With rising living costs and increased tuition fees, demand for summer jobs has soared this year, and E4S generated more than 232,000 job applications in June for companies that included Coca-Cola Enterprise, Wesser and Phones 4u.
Chris Eccles, managing director and founder of Employment4students, commented: "Students really need to use their long summer break to add some work experience to their CV, and we are delighted to have helped a record number search and apply for jobs in June."
Lindsay Hobson, TMP Worldwide, added: “I have used E4S a number of times for a large UK banking client with much success. Not only has the site been one of the top performing media for internship candidates but the service received from the team has been second to none.”
