Students and graduates have the chance to quiz Employment Minister, Jim Knight on the governmentís plans to help graduates into work and training on Monday 5 October, 10-11am as part of Graduate Prospects Chatlive Week.

Jim Knight follows in the footsteps of Department for Work and Pensions Minister Bill McKenzie, who took part in one of Prospectsí hour-long moderated group chats in May this year. The Employment Minister will answer questions about what the government is doing to ensure graduates can access the opportunities and help they need to find work or develop skills.

Graduate Prospects Chatlive product manager, Andy Stevens says: ìThe chance to find out about what graduate job opportunities there are and where they can be found is likely to be a major attraction for the graduates out there who are facing a particularly tough time. We hope this event will help students and graduates to feel more positive about their situation and the resources and support available to them.î

The NHS, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ofgem and the University of Derby are also taking part in Chatlive Week, on prospects.ac.uk from 5-9 October 2009.
