Belfast City Council is one of the latest organisations who have booked into Job Scene Northern Ireland taking place at the Odyssey Arena on 22 & 23 September 2005.

The show features 100s of job and career opportunities for all as well as live demonstrations and free advice clinics and is the perfect place to rekindle your career prospects, find out about courses or further training or just talk to possible employees face to face.
With over 8000 visitors last year, the event was a success for both exhibitors and visitors alike, the latest exhibitor to book into the event, Belfast City Council have booked to promote the Women into Non-traditional Sectors (WINS) Project.
The project which is led by Belfast City Council and funded by the European Social Fund was formed in order to provide greater Heather Louden a spokesperson for the council commented;
We hope Job Scene will help us attract women onto the training and work experience programme. Attendance at Job Scene is one element in our outreach work in publicising WINS and recruiting women onto the project.
Non-traditional jobs often suffer from a negative image and this project aims to show how employment practices have moved on and that major employers like Belfast City Council are actively reaching out to encourage more women to consider this type of work, Job Scene is a great place to meet visitors face to face and explain the benefits of the non-traditional career.
