e-learning for Irish police force - 05/2001

Educational Multimedia Corporation, a leader in the design and development of e-learning solutions, has been selected to provide e-learning solutions for Microsoft@Office applications to the Irish Police Force, An Garda Siochana. Under the agreement Educational Multimedia Corporation's range of e-learning solutions will be deployed at police stations nation-wide and their learning centres at Harcourt Square, Phoenix Park Headquarters and at the Police Training College in Templemore.

Under the terms of the agreement the police force will use Educational Multimedia Corporation's e-learning solutions for Microsoft Office 97 and 2000 applications to provide Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) certification for its members. Educational Multimedia Corporation's solutions will allow police force members to assess their competencies, identify skill gaps and access training menus personalised to their individual training needs.
