There is still time to enter the Springboard Awards for Excellence, but donít delay as the closing date is 31st August 2005.

The awards are open to businesses in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism sectors and provide an opportunity to be rewarded for excellence and to let others hear about it.

The awards are now in their third year and are organised by Springboard in association with many leading industry companies and organisations, including the Caterer Group, Berkeley Scott, caterer.com, the HCIMA, American Express and Jobcentre Plus.

The awards celebrate and reward outstanding initiatives which have successfully raised the profile of the industry and its employees in one of three categories: Promoting Careers; Attracting People; and Best Employment Practice, providing the opportunity to showcase outstanding practice in addressing one of the industryís most significant issues ñ attracting and retaining people.

If you think that you have been involved in, or know of, an initiative worthy of an award in any of the three categories listed, then, why not share it with us?
Nominations can be made by individuals, teams or partnerships for relevant initiatives that have achieved results over the last 12 months.

Entry may be made via the website: www.springboarduk.org.uk/awards, by post to Springboard Awards Entry, 3 Denmark Street, London WC2H 8LP, or by email to awards@springboarduk.org.uk. Describe your initiative and why you think it should win in no more than 750 words. Supporting evidence such as promotional literature and press cuttings should be clearly marked and posted to: Springboard Awards Entry, 3 Denmark Street, London WC2H 8LP.

Remember the closing date for entries is 31st August 2005.
