In an all cash deal, DDC and the local Dutch management team have acquired the business and assets of Fedaso (NL) from Wegener Direct Marketing. The newly-acquired company will be renamed as DDC Europe and the management team, lead by Aime Cruysbergs, will remain in place and in control of the day-to-day activities of the new organisation.
Fedaso (NL) specialises in data capture, scanning and digital archiving. The Company has three offices and 65 staff in The Netherlands, located at Oss and Nieuwegein. The merger delivers a stronger geographic spread for The DDC Group which can now offer mail receipt, handling, scanning, capture, database management and Business Process Outsourcing Services from the UK, North America, SE Asia and mainland Europe.
DDC co-founder and director Brett Trevalyan comments, Not many companies involved in offshore computing can offer the geographic diversity which The DDC Group can now bring to bear. In particular, to have North American, UK and mainland European onshore document handling and project management operations is most unusual and this can be attractive to multinationals who are looking to standardise their global consumer and business digitisation requirements. The additional facilities will further enable DDC to combine onshore receipt, handling and project management with our long-standing SE Asian outsourcing facilities and should help to deliver many benefits to clients.
