Global talent management organisation Development Dimensions International (DDI) has appointed Elmar Kronz to the newly created position of Vice President Global Business. The newly created role strengthens and reinforces DDI’s commitment to providing leading class talent management strategies on a global scale to multinational organisations.

Elmar Kronz has been with DDI for over 13 years and was most recently Vice President Europe following a two-year assignment as VP Asia Pacific. His primary role will be developing DDI’s approach, and co-ordinating DDI’s global resources, to deliver maximum value to multinational clients. In his new role he will head up the firm’s Global Projects Department.

Says Elmar Kronz: “Multinationals face a unique set of challenges when it comes to developing and deploying their talent around the world. The ‘one size fits all’ approach, with subsidiaries following head office’s edicts, is no longer sophisticated enough in our globally connected world.”

“I’m excited to be working with a great team of people around the world to head up global projects and really help take our clients’ talent initiatives to the next level.”

Ron Dalesio, President of Worldwide Sales, DDI comments: “Elmar is uniquely placed to take the helm of our new division and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. He will be overseeing DDI’s new dedicated infrastructure which is focused on delivering optimal value to our multinational clients.”

Elmar Kronz holds a master’s degree in industrial / organisational psychology and work science from Ruhr-University, Bochum, Germany.
