Specialist providers of accountancy services to contractors, Danbro, have today opened an office in Manchester in line with plans to grow their national presence.
The move comes during a month that will likely see more office closures than openings, and marks the companyís second branch opening in six months.
Danbroís Gareth Richardson will head the new office, working closely with recruitment agencies in Manchester to provide specialised accounting, umbrella and limited company services to contractors.
ìWe are delighted with the opening of our Manchester branchî, says Damian Broughton, managing partner at the firm. ìHaving put down roots in London last year, we turned our attentions to the North of the country to serve what is increasingly recognised as one of the UKís most active business communities.
ìItís all part of our strategic development plan, the central focus of which is expanding our reach and promoting awareness among more and more recruitment companies,î explains managing partner Damian Broughton. ìIf we can replicate the success we are experiencing in London, we could well be eyeing further opportunities in other major cities throughout the year.î
Danbro opened their maiden London office at premises in Covent Garden in July, allowing the firmís accountants to work at close quarters with the large number of existing clients they represent in the City. It also gave them access to more recruitment agencies in the area with whom they partner to provide specialised accounting, umbrella and limited company services to contractors.
This year could see further rollouts. In 2009, Danbro plan to open a new office in Birmingham and up their presence in the nationís capital, but for now itís location, location, locationÖ
