Speciality media house, CyberMedia joined hands with a leading American online recruitment company Dice to float CyberMediaDice, a speciality Job Board focused on technology and engineering industry.
Targeted at the burgeoning Indian technology recruitment sector, www.cyberMediaDice.com would leverage CyberMedia’s equity in the Indian technology spectrum and Dice’s expertise in online recruitment services for technology professionals, CyberMedia Chairman and Managing Director Pradeep Gupta told newspersons.
He said the joint venture, in which Dice would hold a 51 per cent stake, presented a strategic opportunity for both the companies, keeping in mind the sheer potential offered by the Indian technology recruitment sector.
Dice Senior Vice-President Michael P Durney said the company had to look to India following demands from its clientele. This was the first time that DICE had taken up a formal venture outside the US.
Dice would bring in its proprietary job board technology and unique IT assessment technology to serve the online recruitment needs of the technology sector in India, he added.
