Cyber Security Jobsite celebrates its 1st Birthday

Cyber Security Jobsite.com, the specialist Job Board for the IT Security and Information Assurance industry, is celebrating a hectic first year in business

Cyber Security Jobsite.com, the specialist Job Board for the IT Security and Information Assurance industry, is celebrating a hectic first year in business. The Job Board was brought to market to cater for the increasing demand for candidates with Cyber Security experience.  The site has had over 5,000 Cyber Security professionals register in the first 12 months and advertises over 250 dedicated Cyber Security Jobs daily.

The site is run by the team behind Security Cleared Jobs.com which has been in business for the last 8 years and hosts jobs that require a level of Security Clearance for the Government, Defence, Nuclear and Policing sectors. It was apparent that many clients were looking for candidates with Cyber Security experience within Central Government but there were also many companies in the private sector who did not require Security Clearance but were also competing to attract candidates with skills within the IT Security and Information arena.

The increase in cyber-attacks on Governments and corporate I.T. networks around the globe is creating a very high demand for skilled candidates in this sector and is set to continue. Cyber Security Jobsite.com is working closely with the leading universities and training companies and attending a number of industry events to promote the Job Board to the right target audience. The team also hosts The Cyber Security EXPO which is a one day recruitment event held twice a year where clients can exhibit and meet with Cyber professionals on a face to face basis. The inaugural EXPO was held at the QEII Conference centre in London (Co-Located with the Security Cleared EXPO)  in October, the event had over 400 attendees from the cyber marketplace and over 30 exhibitors all looking to recruit candidates with these skills.

The outlook for 2015 looks set to outstrip 2014 with demand increasing and the interest from in-house recruitment teams across many industries using the Job Board directly to resource their growing Cyber programmes.
