Online job site CV-Library.co.uk has announced the integration of its newly launched semantic search tool. The search interacts with strings carried out on the CV database and automatically expands the search terms for the user, displaying a wider range of results. This new search tool will save time and prompt CVs which may not have been located on the database otherwise.
The search tool has the ability to recognise transferable keywords and cross reference them in a search, which then returns additional CVs containing similar skills, qualifications and job titles. The CV database currently holds over 1.8 million CVs, so this time saving concept will help give recruiters a better reach into the CV database. With over 7.9 million CVs downloaded from its database over the last 12 months, CV-Library has a wealth of knowledge surrounding search patterns.
