The Search for Recruits continues around the UK
Top European tourist destination, Disneyland Paris visits Birmingham and London this week to attend a series of recruitment events as part of its ongoing recruitment drive.
Between 28-31 October 2009, a team of human resources professionals from Disneyland Paris will attend three different events around the UK to source around 100 positions, for the Christmas 2009 and summer 2010 seasons. The opportunities come in a variety of roles including guest services, sales, attractions and food & beverage.
The team first visited the ëSignpost to Europeí event organised by European Employment Services (EURES), part of Jobcentre Plus which took place at Birmingham Town Hall on Wednesday October 28. At the event, which was free for visitors to attend, Disneyland Paris met with and interviewed potential recruits with an interest in working in Europe.
Today, Thursday October 29 the team has relocated to Disneyís head office in Hammersmith, London where they will continue to interview potential recruits who have applied previously via the website, www.disneylandparis-casting.com.
The final two days of recruiting in the UK will take place at The Language Show at London Olympia, for which Disneyland Paris will join Jobcentre Plus on stand between Friday 30- Saturday 31 October.
