Although the U.S. economy has shed hundreds of thousands of jobs over the past year and the only sector which continues to hire rapidly is government, the leading job board for college students searching for internships and recent graduates hunting for entry-level jobs today announced the hiring of two new sales representatives. CollegeRecruiter.com, which was named this past summer to the Inc. 5000 list for fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S., recently hired Caddy Rowland as a National Account Executive and Betsy Larson as a Consumer Marketing National Account Executive.
Caddy Rowland is responsible for the sale of recruitment advertising packages to employers, schools, and other clients. Caddy has worked in advertising sales for more than 18 years. During many of the years, she sold advertising targeted to National Football League fans in team publications. In between selling advertising and disciplining her parrots, Caddy loves to paint with water colors and mixed media and has had a number of those paintings displayed by galleries throughout the Minneapolis / Saint Paul metro area. She enjoys all subject matter, but her favorites are abstract, life form and illustrative. When she's not relaxing with a brush in hand, you'll find Caddy walking and hiking in the woods, enjoying all types of animals (if it breathes, she is fascinated by it), working with plants and flowers, playing bridge and Texas Hold 'Em, reading, and enjoying the fine arts. Caddy is also a member o! f the Minnesota Zoo and Minnesota Arboretum.
Betsy Larson is responsible for the sale of advertising packages to organizations which want to market their products and services to college students, recent graduates, and alumni. Betsy also sells cost per acquisition (CPA) advertising to military and other organizations who want to pay to generate employment-related leads from candidates by the lead or click. Betsy grew up in Iowa and moved to the Chicago area to attend Northwestern University . She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Economics but was unsure of what she could do with a Poli Sci major other than run for President or go into sales. Fortunately for Betsy, she made the wise choice and took a job selling computer hardware and software. Betsy went through the IBM sales training program and went on to work for a business partner of IBM's selling personal computer software. Betsy started working in the Internet spac! e in 2000 in a variety of positions including media buying, ad sales, and ad brokering. Betsy has extensive experience in email marketing, lead generation and affiliate marketing. Betsy lives in the Chicago area with her husband, two teenagers and a very large bloodhound named Hunter. When she is not working, she enjoys watching her kids sporting events, hiking, skiing, reading, and walking.
The entire team at CollegeRecruiter.com is very excited about these two new additions, said Steven Rothberg, President and Founder. The passion and years of experience that these two fine individuals bring to our clients will only help us better help them.
