Cash Simply Does It Again

Keen Thinking Ltd (via its Cash Simply brand) has received another award and this time for its payroll solutions.

On Thursday the 10th August Managing Director David Thornhill was presented with the 2006 Media Today Business Achievement award for Payroll Solutions.

Chief Executive, Tom Atkinson said, ìIt is always delightful to have the quality of the service you provide recognised by others. This 2006 award, coming as it does, following a similar award made to us by East Midlands Press in 2005, is a welcome recognition of the high quality of services provided by the brilliant team assembled here a Vantage Point and helps maintain both morale and motivation.î

Keen Thinking as well as being a receiver of awards, is no stranger to award judging, presenting and sponsoring the awards of others. During the last three years Tom Atkinson has been both a judge and a presenter for the National Business Awards, Cash Simply sponsored and presented the 2005 Argent Suffolk Recruitment Consultant of The Year award won by Kate Burgess of Hales Personnel and as well as sponsoring that award again this year it is sponsoring a similar award for the 2006 London and South East Region (to be presented at the Britannia Hotel near Canary Wharf on the 20th October). Tom Atkinson is also a judge for a separate Award category for that event.

Tom said ìRecruitment Consultant of The Yearî was an award category I first introduced to the industry some years ago. Whilst ìBest Agencyî might mean something, we should never forget what a fantastic contribution Recruitment Consultants make to the UK economy. Without them, the permanent job market would slow dramatically. Many forget that Recruitment Consultants are responsible for the work that results in around 4 billion of permanent placement fees every year and the placement of around a million temporary workers every day. It was to recognise the best in securing those achievements, who were previously unrecognised by any national or regional awards, that I introduced a national Recruitment Consultant of The Year Award as a stand alone award. Iím delighted that it is now a regular category in recruitment award ceremonies around the country and we are pleased to able to be associated as the sponsor for that most important categoryî.
